If the brands that I usually make fun of still in the impressive bag collections, should I going to break jokes about? With the second good presentation by Fendi in so many seasons, it looks just like its works before. I know it, the only time I'm going to get to be disgusting and snarky is when Versace made a new horror in handbag design. That's horrible for me as a writer (bad reviews write themselves), but it's a little gain for handbag lovers in many places.
Although we found a logo bag or two in the Fendi collection, most of the collection was comprised of clear, high-level shapes, made in a subdued, retro palette of browns and orangey-yellows. The handbags reminded me of Hitchcock graceful Marnie, all mid-60s subdued tailoring and middle-aged color mixture. The results were luxurious and pretty, with pretty details that weren't to be forgotten.
Fashion Week Fall 2010: Gucci Handbags
First, please allow me to make clear one of my personal biases: I was looking forward to appreciating the handbags on the Gucci stage more than almost any other bags shows at the fashion week. The brand's horrible sense for modern charming and sexuality often comes by the best in their on-stage bags, and looking at them is almost a pleasure in most of the occasions.
I wasn't as happy by this season's shows as I was in last season's skill-influenced collection, but they were still as great and detailed as you could probably ask. Most of the collection, which was too much on ostrich, was also looking as a little modified interlocking logo that I've never found before could it be a vintage refreshment, as is famous with the name of the brand, or something completely different? I'm not sure of it, I think its just curvier lines operated well for the direction that the brand is always going.
